There are four airport available: Madrid, Jerez, Seville and Malaga. Madrid is the main hub and international airport. Málaga has a lot of international fligths mainly connected to northern European contries.
The closest airport is the Jerez airport, approximately 40 km north of the Cádiz city. It offers regular domestic flights to Madrid and Barcelona as well as scheduled and seasonal charter flights to different European destinations. There are also airports in Madrid, Seville and Malaga.
Every one and half hour there is a high-speed rail line (called ALVIA) from Madrid (ATOCHA Railway Station) to Cádiz city. The trip takes about 4 hours , depending on what train that is taken. The train station is located directly in the city center of Cadiz close to the port.
The Jerez airport is connected to Cádiz by taxi, bus and train.

TRAIN SERVICE:
Train is available from the Jerez airport to Cádiz (Line C1 and Sevilla-Cadiz train service). The train takes about 1 hr to reach Cádiz. The Cádiz railway station is located just outside the old center.
Licenced taxis are available at exits from the train station.

BUS LINES :
M050 and M053 link the Jerez Airport to Cádiz. The bus journey to Cádiz takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. The ticket costs around 2€
The M-050 route runs direct between the airport and Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz with scheduled stops at strategic points in both towns. This service runs every day of the week
The M-051 route connects the airport with Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz via El Puerto de Santa María with scheduled stops at strategic points in both towns. This route runs only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
